We know planning an event can at times be stressful but fear not, our team will give you peace of mind by setting up our equipment upon arrival and be on hand throughout the day to make sure everything runs smoothly. We'll even pack our equipment away at the end of your event in a timely manner.
Good question, our retro gaming setups include a retro gaming console, some controllers and a collection of games, if you don't have any screens or televisions to display them on, no problems we can deliver those too.
We don't just drop off the equipment and expect you to figure it out, each booking with us also includes a member of our team to get things setup, plus be on hand throughout to make sure everything runs to plan. Once your event has finished, they'll pack the equipment away.

Retro is the name of our game, and we've got a range of consoles across the ages. Revisit the console battles of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s game eras. Iconic characters, memorable music and enchanting visuals suitable for your event or any occasion! Remember it's retro, just to keep things simple.

Seeing is believing or so they say, our retro gaming setups are supplied with 32-Inch RCA LCD televisions or 23-Inch EIZO Flatscreen Monitors as standard however, if you wanted to be on the big screen we're able to provide a HD LED projector, to showcase any of the games on a larger scale so everyone can feel part of the excitement.

If control pads are soooo old skool (even for retro) and you wanted to Breakout from the norm, we've got a collection gaming peripherals for a selection of our consoles:
Steering wheels: If you wanted to have head-2-head racing action (Dreamcast, Wii)
Guitars : For unleashing the inner Rock Star! (PS3, Xbox 360)
Lightguns : To take out those evil zombies from a haunted house (PS3, Wii)
Playstation Move & Xbox Kinect : This is where you're the controller, so no gamepads required! This will enable you to really feel like you're in the game! (PS3, Xbox 360)
Looking to plan a birthday party but don't have somewhere to host it? Why not think about booking the Savoy Cinema Nottingham, you can hire their whole party room. They offer Console Parties for up to two hours for as many people as you like!

If you're looking to add some LAN Gaming (systems linked up together) we can be hired for small or large scale events/conventions and fairs. By linking systems, it brings more people together to join in the fun and it also looks very impressive for on-lookers. We can currently link up to 8 systems together for multiplayer action, so if it's racing for the top position against other racers or working as a team to battle against the enemy team in a classic shooter we've got it covered. We often get asked why do we only provide Retro Gaming Systems? The easiest answer and most important reason for us is, the pure ease of use for pick up and play gaming. Yes even gaming consoles such as the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 are classed as Retro so we've fully updated those systems from our collection which means there are no downloads, updates to eat into your gaming time, with the peace of mind you're playing the latest version of the game.
Sadly we don't offer games which you need to connect to the internet to play or to download items/updates, all of our systems are stocked with games that can be enjoyed without the need to be wired to the internet.
If you have a special requirement that you require games to be played online, then speak to our team prior to making a booking.
We've also got a collection of Vintage Gaming Systems from the 70s, if you wanted something a bit more simpler, when booking if you want a mixture of Vintage and Retro Consoles just let us know.
We always like to put something back into our local community in any way we can. Being part of community fun days, local fairs and festivals is something we enjoy doing. Local Churchs, Schools, Fairs and Community Pubs/Spaces - It's just our little bit to build awareness of the events/charities which need it the most. Meeting people and families, putting smiles on their faces makes it all worth it.
