It’s heating up in the restaurant kitchens at The Cornerhouse and this time it’s serious! As Shrove Tuesday approaches and the annual Pancake race looms.
Up to eight teams will be lining up at the city’s leading leisure and entertainment complex to take part in the annual Pancake Race.

The charity event is taking place at 10.30am on Tuesday 9th February and Suzanne Green, centre manager at The Cornerhouse, said it always brings out a competitive edge in those involved.

She said: “This is the fourteenth annual pancake race on Forman Street and the oven gloves are off for the much sought after winning frying pan.

“Red Hot World Buffet took the winning title last year so they’ll be trying to retain the top spot for another year. The race is good fun but it is also an opportunity for us to raise funds for our chosen charity, Nottinghamshire Hospice.”

The Cornerhouse offers diners a choice of 14 bars and restaurants, alongside Cineworld which houses the only IMAX screen in the East Midlands, a casino, adventure golf, a hairdressers, a nightclub, a comedy club and a family entertainment centre, Fun Station
