ripwarriorSad times for wrestling fans off all ages. The Ultimate Warrior today has passed away aged 54. He was the man and wrestler back in the 80’s and 90’s that everyone wanted to be, he was the legend that had so many classic matches, that he brought a smile to the faces of millions of fans around the world, and he was an icon that he lived to this day as The Ultimate Warrior, and everyone loved him for that.

It’s a great shame in hearing this, and many a wrestling fans are all feeling the same in great shock, it was only a few days ago that he was at WWE Hall Of Fame, before Wrestlemania XXX and on RAW the following night, he gave a rousing speech to the audience, his friends, and family, so that one last speech will be his last, but it was touching that everyone should take something from this. Here’s a part from his speech on WWE RAW that seems very much foreshadowing for the man himself, considering his death today

ultimatewhof“Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat. His lunges breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others…his essence, his spirit, will be immortalised. I am the Ultimate Warrior, you are Ultimate Warrior fans, and the spirit of Ultimate Warrior will live forever!”

Nothing has been noted yet as how Ultimate Warrior died, apart from ‘passed away’. After the speech above, I’m hoping the timing was a crazy and weird, and ultimately sad coincidence, because after so long, The Ultimate Warrior has wanted to be accepted back into his Wrestling family, and a few nights ago he was, and his passing so soon after. Again I’m sure its just a crazy sad coincidence.

warrior_grey1Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter.
