MURDER FILES NOW AVAILABLE FOR FREE

Independent games developer Relentless today announced that the original PC version of Murder Files is now available as a “pay what you want” download from www.getmurderfiles.com.

Users can select any price from a completely FREE version to whatever they wish to pay and Relentless will donate 20% of all net receipts to GamesAid. This offer is open until December 31st 2013.

Andrew Eades, CEO, commented: “Murder Files has been a huge success on PSN, iOS and Kindle Fire already so we wanted to offer it again to PC players. But we didn’t want price to be a blocker for people. We also saw an opportunity to raise some money for GamesAid by allowing people to pay if they want. It’s an experiment as much as anything but I hope more people get to enjoy our games like this in future.”

About Relentless Software: Relentless Software makes games for everyone. Founded in 2003 to take advantage of the breakout success of Sony’s PlayStation 2, Relentless has always been at the forefront of where games-capable technology crosses over with mass-market availability.

In 2005, Relentless released its first Buzz!™ game which revolutionised quiz games on console by introducing simplified buzzer controllers and entertaining gamers and non-gamers alike. Buzz!™ won a BAFTA in 2006 and was one of Sony’s biggest sellers from 2005 onwards.

As the games industry has seen a shift from console gaming to mobile and digital self-publishing, Relentless has also succeeded with Murder Files, first published in 2009 on PSN and subsequently becoming a bestseller on both the iOS and Amazon Kindle Fire charts.

Relentless remains a leader in bringing video games entertainment to non-gamer audiences and is based in a thriving creative tech hub centred in Brighton, UK.

In my early days I had a passion for video games of all kinds, which lead to myself and a number of close friends and family creating a gaming clan and community called UKRockers. After 10 years UKRockers disbanded which lead to myself and brother (RockerJarvis) creating ItsMuchMore.

I still enjoy playing games now can be anything from retro, indie to today’s biggest and best titles, it isn’t just computer or video games that I enjoy doing I also like to go to the Theatre and Cinema.
