JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR : Nottingham Theatre Royal

Jesus Christ Superstar exploded onto the musical scene in 1971, changing the face of musical theatre forever. Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock opera tells the story of the last seven days in the life of Jesus through a ground-breaking score. As compelling today as it was at its inception, Jesus Christ Superstar contains some of musical theatre’s most legendary songs including I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Everything’s Alright, Gethsemane and, of course, Superstar.

Glenn Carter returns as Jesus; a role he has played in the West End, on Broadway and on film.
Tim Rogers (Carousel, Whistle Down The Wind) plays Judas Iscariot, while X Factor finalist Rachel Adedeji stars as Mary Magdalene.

Produced by Bill Kenwright and the creative team behind blockbuster musicals Evita, Joseph, Cabaret, Blood Brothers, Whistle Down the Wind, and Starlight Express.

Founder & Editor of ItsMuchMore.com In my early days I had a passion for video games of all kinds, which lead to myself and a number of close friends and family creating a gaming clan and community called UKRockers. After 10 years UKRockers disbanded which lead to myself and brother (RockerJarvis) creating ItsMuchMore. I still enjoy playing games now can be anything from retro, indie to today's biggest and best titles, it isn't just computer or video games that I enjoy doing I also like to go to the Theatre and Cinema.
