EGX London – First playable games revealed!‏

The EGX blog has recently announced a whole host of information about some of the games coming to the show floor at this years EuroGamer Expo / EGX London. They have some big titles along with console exclusives, sequals, prequals, and another showing of a massive title that we had a chance to try at the EGX Rezzed in Birmingham last year.

Among the big names gracing the packed show floor are Evolve and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, both from 2K Games. SEGA’s Alien: Isolation joins them, fresh from its game of the show appearance at this year’s EGX Rezzed. Too scary? Never fear, Destiny and Battlefield Hardline will give you plenty of thrills without the need for a change of underwear.

Interested in console exclusives? Sunset Overdrive, Fable Legends and Forza Horizon 2, among others, will be playable on Xbox One while Sony and Nintendo have promised a compelling line-up of games for their respective consoles. What could they be? Check back in a few weeks to find out.

Fans of virtual reality will be very happy to hear that Oculus will return to EGX London with its own dedicated stand. It’s a great chance to experience what many people consider to be the future of gaming.

og-web-gallery-bfiddle-2We have a great selection of indie titles hitting show floor too including Gang Beasts, a multiplayer brawler featuring wobbly Morph-like figures. Gang Beasts was the surprise hit of this year’s EGX Rezzed with crowds of people gathering to watch four tubby characters throw wild haymakers at each other. While that sounds a bit like an average night at your local Wetherspoon’s, Boneloaf’s game is in fact hilarious multiplayer fun. Eurogamer’s Let’s Play video, recorded at EGX Rezzed, will give you a glimpse of what to expect. Other indie treats include Volume by Mike Bithell, Velocity 2X from Futurlab and Introversion’s Prison Architect.

Tickets are selling out fast! Don’t miss out, get your ticket here. Before you dash off to buy your tickets why not take a few minutes to check out a brand new feature here on the EGX London site.
