Combat Arms recruits new content for the Autumn months

Epic updates to arrive on popular online FPS, including Arms Race mode and Oktoberfest

NEXON Europe is pleased to announce that although the summer may have ended, the good times have not; Combat Arms will be receiving a host of new content to see its millions of players through the seasonal transition.

The first new mode is named Arms Race – each player will obtain random weapons on each new re-spawn and must be ready to kill their enemies regardless of what lies in their arsenal. Players must be prepared for anything and adapt as they go.

Oktoberfest is no longer exclusive to Germany – this year it will be coming to Combat Arms too. A special seed event will be held to celebrate the centuries-old Bavarian occasion, along with a daily attendance event (just log in to win NX or GP items) and in-game Oktoberfest HiSec supply cases.

“We’re very pleased to be bringing our faithful players a treat to help ease the way into winter,” said Kyle Lee, Lead Project Manager of Combat Arms at Nexon Europe. “Combat Arms is one of our most popular titles and we’re confident that both the millions that take part already and players that are new to the table will appreciate the brilliant new content available.”

A plus 100% EXP/GP boost will be also performed from 27th September to 6th October, 12:00 to 18:00 CEST, along with one Supply Crate Cosmetic Case being given to each player for free when logging in between 25th September and 1st October. Even logging into the game will net rewards.

About Combat Arms
Combat Arms is a fast-paced, multiplayer shooter, designed for non-stop action on various battlefields, recruiting players to get engaged with their opponents in multiple game modes. Whilst integrating the traditional attributes of the FPS genre, Combat Arms advances it further by evolving a whole new set of striking features allowing character customization as well as weapon modification, enabling the player to adjust their weapons with attachments such as scopes, silencers, and extended magazines. An additional eye-catching feature is the unique backpack system, which allows players to combine a set of multiple weapons from the extensive armory for a more sophisticated combat experience on the battlefield. Moreover, the extensive community features within the game actively support the clan system, where players can easily recruit, manage, and communicate with their other clan members.

Founder & Editor of ItsMuchMore.com In my early days I had a passion for video games of all kinds, which lead to myself and a number of close friends and family creating a gaming clan and community called UKRockers. After 10 years UKRockers disbanded which lead to myself and brother (RockerJarvis) creating ItsMuchMore. I still enjoy playing games now can be anything from retro, indie to today's biggest and best titles, it isn't just computer or video games that I enjoy doing I also like to go to the Theatre and Cinema.

Yeah man this is definitely one of my favorite FREE first person shooters out right now. But arms race has been around for a while. It’s one of my favorite modes! It really gets levels the playing field a little bit against people that specialize in only one weapon type. It also has a great built in recorder to upload a game directly to youtube that supports hd with no special programs needed.

to check out some Quick HD/HD+ gameplay clip (no commentary) check out.
