Brassed Off – Derby’s latest home-grown production is now in rehearsals

Brassed Off, a much-loved tale full of heart and humour, is now in rehearsals at Derby Theatre. It’s 1994 and Grimley colliery faces closure. Danny’s dreams of leading the pit’s brass band to victory at the Albert Hall seem remote as the men choose between picket lines and redundancy packages. But when Flugelhorn-playing Gloria returns to her home town the band get their oompah back. However, when the real reason for Gloria’s return is revealed and the pressures of the strike get too much, things start to fall out of tune…

In my early days I had a passion for video games of all kinds, which lead to myself and a number of close friends and family creating a gaming clan and community called UKRockers. After 10 years UKRockers disbanded which lead to myself and brother (RockerJarvis) creating ItsMuchMore.

I still enjoy playing games now can be anything from retro, indie to today’s biggest and best titles, it isn’t just computer or video games that I enjoy doing I also like to go to the Theatre and Cinema.
