ANDRÉ RIEU’S 2015 MAASTRICHT CONCERT – IN CINEMAS

Following last year’s record breaking cinema event, ‘The King Of Waltz’ André Rieu returns to the big screen with his 2015 Maastricht Concert

 

Affectionately known as ‘The King of Waltz’ and one of the most popular live acts in the world, André Rieu and Worldwide Producers & Distributors of Event Cinema, CinemaLive, are pleased to announce that André Rieu’s 2015 Maastricht Concert will be screened via satellite in over 500 cinemas in the UK on Saturday 18th July for one night only including all major multiplexes and many independent cinemas and arts centres.

Last year’s 10th anniversary Maastricht concert set a new record for Event Cinema, becoming the highest grossing ‘One Night Only’ music event in UK cinema history, grossing a lifetime total of close to £1,000,000.

André performs every year in front of thousands of fans set amongst the beautiful medieval backdrop of his beautiful home town of Maastricht, in The Netherlands. André will be joined by his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra, his sopranos, tenors and some very special guests and will be working his magic to present an unforgettable evening full of humour, music and emotion for every age. Be swept away with the incredible atmosphere, which attracts audiences from every corner of the globe who come together to share and experience beautiful music, song, laughter, dancing and a few tears!

The Maastricht concerts are André’s most popular concerts of the year and 2015 is shaping up to be his biggest and most spectacular concert ever to be screened in cinemas.  The event will also include a host who as always, will interview André immediately after his performance as an exclusive for cinema audiences which has become a hallmark of his much-loved cinema events.
