Initial Thoughts : Suicide Squad

It was pretty sh*t from scene 1 to the last. The opening was horrible, it felt more like it was advertising an 'Best 100 Rock Tracks' as every scene basically started with a popular rock song, I loved the songs don't get me wrong, but it was so laughable that it was all they could do and the only way to build a scene was play a popular song that would get the feet tapping, and my head was shaking most of the other time. 1984 : Comes to Nottingham Playhouse

Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan’s award-winning and critically acclaimed 5-star adaptation of George Orwell’s dystopian masterpiece, 1984 will embark on a third tour this Autumn, returning to Nottingham Playhouse, where the show originally premiered in 2013 and then to Bath, following this the production will travel to Australia for the Melbourne Festival and then to the US in 2016 performing in California, Boston and Washington.   (more…)
