“After mysteriously vanishing from galactic charts, the fortress of Valfaris has suddenly reappeared in the orbit of a dying sun. Once a self-contained paradise, the grandiose citadel now plays host to an ever-growing darkness.

Therion, a fearless and proud son of Valfaris, returns to his home to uncover the truth of its doomed fate and to challenge the arcane evil at its very heart.”

This game is a 2D Action-Platformer that brings that genuine arcade feels to the pc.

For me this has a lot of similarities with Castlevania on the mega drive on steroids!

It has a few different elements to the game, there is ranged and close combat, there is a shield (so those pesky shots don’t kill you dead!!) and jumping, always a bonus!

Its a good bit of nostalgic fun if you like your 2D retro games, it does feel like it belongs in an arcade, which for me personally is a good thing.

There are many different weapons, different moves you can do, and ways to play, enough for you to find your own way of doing things, and if not, you can respawn anyway J

The backgrounds are immersive, crisp and detailed, really bringing the game to life, and adding to the effect and above all it runs really smoothly, no bugging or lag at all.

The only thing i would really say would make the game easier is making the controls a little smoother, rather than jolting forward/back etc it could be a bit smoother and more controlled.

So overall, soundtrack! Ace, Gameplay – Fun and immersive, overall feels – Good and arcade like
