ABOUT BEING AP
Ageing but fearless, nearing the end of his career yet still willing to put everything on the line to achieve his dream in a competitive and dangerous sport, this feature length documentary is a real celebration of an incredible man.
The film follows AP through his exhaustive training routine, the complications he suffers from the various injuries he’s endured throughout his career—including over 700 falls and breaking nearly every bone in his body—and the effect this has on his psyche and his family.
With a mixture of archive footage and behind-the-scenes access to the team around him including billionaire horse-owner JP McManus, the trainers and fellow jockeys, and above all, his wife Chanelle, who has lived through everything at his side.
BEING AP is available now on DVD, Blu-ray™ and Download.
